First off it's not that long, don't worry (3-5 mins reading tops). Secondly, you can buy it from:
www.englerpaintballguns.com or email Eric Engler (maker) at: ericdengler@att.net
I've always wanted something different, something no one else had (at least not in my area) so I was browsing around and came across this stock. I'm not the type to go for that militia look, so that aspect of it wasn't really what I was going for. I previously had the MP5 folding stock, which I found to be nothing but problems and ordered this one with the refund I received.
Ok so now about the stock. "It has the ability for fold under the marker," Well that's not true at all, sorry Eric Engler. The reason why you can't fold it under is because the Air Tank will get in the way, plus EVEN if you do take of your bottle you'll have to take off the elbow as well since the stock can't clear that either (see picture) UNLESS you have your elbow running vertical, like it is when bought stock. If the elbow sticks out left or right of the ASA then it won't fold. So it's main selling point of being able to fold "under" your marker isn't true. Can't be done. But, being the genius I am, I've found a very simple way around it. The stock folds under the marker as simply as it folds over. So when you don't want to use it fold it up (you just squeeze two buttons to fold it up and down), it will stick up a bit funny and/or hit the hopper but it's out of the way and your able to get more compact.
The stock also is a bit different than the ones we're accustomed to. Instead of replacing the blow back plate it clamps over it. Furthermore, you have to replace the quick strip pins with screws that are not quick strip (another way I found around this was just going to the local hardware store and using wing nuts instead). So you can't take of the grip or the back plate without tools. As a side-note the stock isn't all black and it's not one color. The actual stock part (The part that folds up and down) is powder coated matte black, slightly lighter and a little browner than the stock color. The folding mechanism and the clamps that attach the stock to the marker is a pewter color. Its not ugly at all, just different, wouldn't have stopped me from buying it.
"As for the color of the mount, it is Parkerizing. A process that is uded on real guns."
-Eric Engler

| Conclusion: |
All in all it's a good stock, I can hold my entire marker horizontal by grasping the end of stock (which swivels) and have no wobble at all. MP5 stock couldn't do that *snap*.
Although it does have some minor flaws, with some very easy mods, it can be made ideal. It goes on an A-5 so lets be reasonable, we A-5 owners love to do mods. |

As soon as I got this I put it on immediately. Bolts on to the outside of your A-5, instead of replacing the end cap. No wobble! I may NEVER buy another stock again! The day after I got it I went to the field and used it! Performed perfectly. I got so many comments on how cool it looked and so many asked where I got it. This thing can take a beating! GET IT!
ONLY weakness is that if you have a fake mag, you may have to take it off to fold the stock under. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
BUY IT! Great product. Is a must have for any MILSIM enthusiast. |
